Evangelia Kolyra is a dynamic and versatile choreographer and performer with a passion for creating visually striking and emotionally resonant content. Based in London and working internationally, she creates work which takes place within theatre spaces, site-specific, film and installation contexts to deliver unforgettable experiences.

Known for her innovative approach to storytelling, her choreography is characterised by its physicality, detail, dark humor and unexpected twists. She skillfully explores a range of themes, offering audiences a unique and thought-provoking perspective on human psychology.

Her work has been featured in various platforms and festivals in Europe (England, Scotland, Greece, Italy, Sweden, Germany, Iceland). Her ability to collaborate effectively with artists from diverse backgrounds has allowed her to develop a cross-disciplinary practice that is both innovative and engaging.​
As an educator, she has extensive experience working with a variety of groups, including dancers, actors, children, the elderly, university students and referred patients. She has a proven track record of building strong relationships with collaborators and creating a supportive and inclusive environment.

Evangelia has an MFA in Choreography from University of Roehampton (UK), a BA in Dance from Professional Dance School D.Gregoriadou (GR) and a BA in Greek Philology-Linguistics from National & Kapodistrian University of Athens (GR).
